Q: Activity! Who do you want to be? If you could
choose any character from a book. What do you think that character looks like
and what do you have in common?
Following on from last
week’s choice of my favorite crush, I have to pick Jenks’ lucky, lucky wife, Matalina
in Kim Harrison’s ‘The Hollows’ Series. I guess the only thing we have in
common is that we both have a husband that always creates a mess that we have
to clean up! :D
Nice! Love the pic you found!

By 'completely unique' I assume you mean 'totally crazy'? :D
ReplyDeleteThey are great books and I love Jenks, so it was an easy choice! :D
ReplyDeleteThey are a great read, with a nicely different view of vampires, witches etc . . . and 'normal' humans have been almost wiped out by a plague caused by genetically engineered tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteThere are surprisingly few pictures of Jenks and Matalina, which is a real shame, but this one is quite nice.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of these books, but it seems like a great answer - having a wonderful (although, I guess messy?) husband is awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteOops, forgot to add, thanks for visiting my site! I'm actually an old follower of your blog!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read this series either, but I do not about husbands and messes!

Thanks to everyone for dropping by and following me . . . and it looks like Kim Harrison owes me for the publicity! :D
ReplyDeleteI heartily recommend this series: it is great fun and not your typical vampire / witch urban fantasy.
Thanks for stopping by! I'm following you.
