Activity: What is the last book that made you cry? Tell us about that scene . . .
This was in A Dance With Dragons by George R.R. Martin.
I am a little wary of saying what exactly happens in the scene, as I do not want to spoil the book for anyone who has not read it yet. I will just say that it is the last Bran chapter in the book, when it becomes clear what his future holds for him and his friends. I sobbed and cried like a baby! :(
I know the show had me crying, so I just can imagine what the books would do. Happy Holidays!

I've only made it through book one and two...really need to get to the rest. I'm not a crier but with this series ~ anything goes!
ReplyDeleteHaven't read this author, but I don't like crying much, especially when reading. It takes a lot to get my tears jerking when reading though, so I suppose that's good!

I've heard a lot about this book but haven't had the chance to read it yet. It sounds good! Good answer. :)
ReplyDeleteNew follower here! :)
Here's my Feature & Follow Friday post.

There have been so many sob-worthy moments throughout this series. I'm quite worried about Bran and his friends, too, and have my fingers crossed that things work out (though I'm not especially optimistic, considering what's happened to some of the other characters).
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and following! Following you back via GFC.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, I have followed you back! :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't read your scene because I didn't want to spoil anything for myself! I've finished ASOS, which btw was my pick for today's question and need to start AFFC. This series is BEYOND awesome! Thanks for stopping by! New follower!
ReplyDeleteaww I have not yet read the books thought my husband did and I think he might have spoiled a lot of it for me :) glad your enjoying them! Following you back <3
ReplyDeleteA big "Thank you!" to everyone for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteIt was difficult to answer the question today without being too spoilery, but I did try to be honest! :D
Thanks for checking out my blog! I just followed back. Sounds like an interesting book, but boy is it long. 1000 pages? Now that's a worthy read, right?
ReplyDeleteI think I saw this on one other blog. I guess I need to go read it;) Thanks for stopping by my FF. I followed back:)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of this series, but I hate coming across a sad scene. I get way too emotional way too easily!
ReplyDeleteReturning you follow via GFC. Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
I have not read any of this series but I've been hearing a lot about it. I have the first one on my TBR list on Goodreads. Looks like I'm going to have to buy it and read it soon :) happy reading!
