Feature & Follow #11

I am trying to increase my readership and gain new followers, so I have signed up for this meme, hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Alison Can Read. Visit either of their posts to see who else is taking part.

I would especially appreciate 'likes' for my Facebook Page.

ACTIVITY:  Write a letter to your favorite character. Rant, rave or gush…just pretend like they are real and you just want to let them know a “few things”.

Dear Tyrion,
The court has certainly been quiet since you left and so much less interesting and entertaining. I had rather hoped that your trial would clear your name, but I am not sure that Cersei would ever be satisfied by anything less than your death: she is such a devoted sister!
I thought that you would like to know that she was recently imprisoned by the High Septon for her fornication with a variety of lesser men. I know that you would have enjoyed hearing the list, which included Lancel but, rather surprisingly, excluded Jaime: I imagine that few people can accept that even she is capable of incest. Eventually she agreed to make a walk of atonement through the city. I am not sure that she realized that she would have to do this completely naked and shaved, but she started out as boldly as you would imagine. However, the taunts and jeers from the crowd eventually broke her and she crawled the final yards whilst trying to cover herself. You would have laughed yourself into a stupor!
Since then she has been a changed woman and is actually being nice to people. I have great difficulty trusting that this is a real change, but we shall see. Personally, I expect the ‘old’ Cersei to reappear very soon.
Unfortunately, I must report that your uncle Kevan was found stabbed to death in Grand Maester Pycelle’s quarters last night. I know that you were fond of him and he had been doing a fine job as Regent since Cersei’s arrest. There is no evidence to suggest the identity of the murderers, although most of the stab marks are rather low down on the body, so I suspect that Cersei will try to blame you for his death as well as that of the good old Maester, who was also found dead. Jaime will investigate the murders, but there are no witnesses and nobody seems an obvious candidate. If only Varys was still here, perhaps one of his ‘little birds’ would have heard a rumor.
I hope that all is well with you and that you have found plenty of loose women and good booze.
Stay well,
Sue
P.S. Bron named Lolys' son after you . . . Cersei nearly exploded when she heard! :D

  1. I didn't do this meme but I'm enjoying all reading the letters everyone has written. I didn't read your prompt since I'm still reading the series - but Tyrion is one of those characters I went from hating to liking - have to see if I'll move to loving or back to hating with the future books.

    1. Tyrion is probably the best character that I have ever read: I love him! :)

I hope you enjoy the rest of the series . . . he continues to become more sympathetic and likable in my opinion.

    1. Don't let the size put you off: they are seriously well-written and a joy to read. You will become fully immersed very quickly and the strong characters keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next! :)

  8. I've only watched the HBO series, but I love this character as well. I think part of it is the actual writing of the character but also the actor does such a great job!!
    Nice letter,
